I tried posting something like this before - but haven't seen it come up yet so maybe I sent it to the wrong place or something. If they do both come up - apologies. Anyways- heres the problem.
I'm trying to install the latest fdbase onto an older Pentium that does not support booting from the CD drive. I am using the FD1440 diskette and that seems to work fine and I can get onto the CD drive using the included driver... but the problem is that it does not detect the CD as being a FreeDOS installation disk and when I try to run setup it just sort of hangs for about a second and then returns back to the prompt. Any ideas? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
