which has the following new features: (1) Heavy source re-structure. Separation of hardware-specific routines from DISPLAY/PRINTER generic code. There is also a change of license: - core files under LGPL. - EGA/VGA and CGA: under GPL Resulting pack: GPL (2) New commandline parsing /NOHI: forbid XMS /C: exClusive: do not load if DISPLAY present /V: Verbose (3) BUGFIX: the infamous bug of crash when HIMEM not present (many thanks to Eduardo Casino and John Elliott) (4) Software codepage have precedence over hardware codepage (5) EGA/VGA specific: support for DR-FONTS (thanks to John Elliott, who submitted the changes) Thus I fix the infamous crash of DISPLAY when no XMS driver was present, and I hope to contribute to the stability of FreeDOS 1.0 with this.
