I had a lot of the same kind of messages with
The cd install which is built on the disks imagine.

Keep trying menu options combinations, eventually I got through them
And it installed. I can't remember which menu it was exactly
But I think it was the 3rd once (including my cd install) So it
Might only be your second.

NOTE: no matter what I did to install VIM it didn't work
And it hung up the install process. Skip it copy the file later.

I know this probably isn't much help. LOL. Good luck!

Subject: [Freedos-user] Problems with floppy disk installation

I just downloaded the beta 9 floppy diskette images the other day. I am
installing onto a Toshiba Libretto 110CT which only has a floppy drive
attachment. The boot disk works just fine and it even went so far as to
properly format the hard drive and create a DOS partition. It also seems to
have done a proper installation of a barebones bootable DOS on the hard
drive.

So far, so good.

However, running the installer on the boot disk (which will presumably
prompt for the other installer disks so I can get more robust functionality)
produces a full page of text that goes by far too quickly to read. The
following screen says that "some files are missing" and aborts the
installation. Presumably the installer is referring to itself, not my hard
drive.

Anyone have any ideas, or is the current floppy installer beta known to have
this issue?
