This didn't work for Jesse, but currently he has a usable (though very
outdated) FreeDOS on his laptop which has no cdrom.
- let the installer open a cd-rom image which you
copied to the target disk before in any way you
like (e.g. using windows or laplink or filemaven)
- let the installer open a directory to which you
copied the cd-rom images before...
All of this is Beta9 stuff. 6 more weeks and a next FreeDOS should be
out. One year has been long enough to improve things quite a bit,
though there's still a lot of space for even more improvements.
