This is just a report of functionality, not a request for assistance ;)
Both Windows 1.01 and 1.02 exhibited exactly the same behaviour. As far
as I can tell the only difference is more device drivers.
Installation works ok. I didn't install any mouse software, as I don't
have a mouse. Same for printer software.
On starting windows, it says "Incorrect DOS" then spews a bunch of
garbage to the screen before starting the "MS-DOS Executive". I'm able
to browse around the window ok, but hitting "enter" on any items doesn't
run it, though I'm not sure if it should.
Unfortuantely, if I try to execute any programs from File -> Run, either
nothing happens or I get an "Out of memory" error message. I'm supposing
that my platform just doesn't have enough RAM to properly run Windows
1.01, or that there is some kind of memory allocation/reporting problem
because of the "Incorrect DOS" thing.
