too bad, people want to have a working system being set up for them.
if MS FDISK does alter MBR, then our FDISK should do so also.
To be fair, FreeDOS gives options to write MBRs. The only reason I
didn't choose this option in my experiments today was because I was
testing for the "dreaded" automatic MBR being written.
consider the presence of AA55 as "working".
consider the lack of it as "time to write a new one", with user consent
first, if you insist :)
I think this sig was present during my tests, _before_ I wrote the MBR.
However, if I understand correctly, AA55 is just a sig, it's not a boot
program...
