Alright, I'm going to scream now. Augos.exe fails for me with a runtime error EVEN IF I don't load EMM386 at all.
CTSTOAST fails for me EVEN IF I load an old EMM386 1.15 version. But it will work with only HIMEM loaded.
It's like we live in slightly different realities. I need something which fails here with EMM386 2.0 and not 1.15. Maybe I can start throwing more drivers or TSR's in the mix.
Adding to my successful list, TLINK 7.1 and TD 5.0, as well as PKUNZIP work under EMM386 2.0 here. TD and TLINK use VCPI, or in PKUNZIP's case detect EMS.
