     AFAIR, there is free ("as beer") "personal" edition, which includes
neither commandline compiler neither support for DOS target. Forget it.


Actually, I had used BC++ 5.5 when I used to run Windows at work. It's command line *only* IIRC, but you cannot generate DOS targets. I used it mainly to test-compile my code to make sure it would compile, then I'd recompile later using a compiler on FreeDOS.
