Hi!

Am interested in trying out FreeDOS, but am unsure whether it will work
on my current setup.

My primary master drive is completely filled -- with win 98, win xp,
freebsd, and linux -- but I have a primary slave drive that is kinda
empty and I was wondering if I can install FreeDOS there. I really dont
want to go ahead and install FreeDOS only to see that it doesn't work
(and worse) has messed up my other OSes ... so thought I'd ask here
first. :) If I remember correctly, MS DOS has a limitation that it must
be the first partition on the primary master drive ... right?

If FreeDOS does work from a primary slave drive, does it have to be on
the first primary partition? What about other drives (secondary master/
slave)?

Thanks,
Rakhesh :)
