Hi Lucas, there is a very simple way to update your FreeDOS from
beta9rc3 to beta9rc4. It can be found on the http://www.freedos.org/
start page: A ZIP with all binaries, only 1.2 MB! Sure you will miss
updated source code, help files and localization (strings, keyboard
layouts, ...). But you can always download updated versions of the
help system and keyboard drivers separately and I assume that you
do not need the source code anyway.

Alternatively, you can get almost the same files from the FreeDOS ODIN
one-floppy distro (720k or 1440k floppy, download is a ZIP which contains
DISKCOPY or simiilar: FreeDOS DISKCOPY can write disk images to disks :-)).
