Hi, what do you think about using Android mini PCs for Freedombox?
I got this one directly from this manufacturer: http://www.rikomagic.com/en/product/showpro_id_39_pid_19.html for $61 + $7 shipping costs (it might be even cheaper). 2G RAM / 8G NAND Flash / Quad core 1.8GHz CPU I was able to install Debian using this Tutorial: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?7209-Now-available-Ubuntu-Lubuntu-or-Xubuntu-on-the-latest-MK802IV-or-T428 with this system image: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?7457-Also-available-Debian here a tutorial on how to flash this device: http://www.cnx-software.com/2013/11/19/how-to-flash-rockchip-rk3066-rk3188-firmware-in-linux/ GPU and Bluetooth do not have Linux drivers yet. The rest works fine. Real desktop experience, but small and silent. For only $68. What do you think?
