Details:
Replace use of freetype's own config tool with pkg-config when detecting it
for sdl2-client (not touching sdl-client bootstrap in stable branches)
This makes sdl2-client cross-compiling to work better, e.g., it's possible to
make OpenEmbedded build of sdl2-client with this.
