Details:
We probably can't practically have every single map distance calculation
honour the pythagorean_diagonal mode added in patch #4819. But paradropping is
obviously movement related, so not having it honour this mode creates an
obvious exploit in a ruleset with both paratroops and pythagorean_diagonal.
In principle this applies to 2.6 and trunk, but fixing it might be too fiddly
to do at this stage as we stabilise S2_6 (especially given the different
implementation of paradrop on trunk). Not sure.
