Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24991 (project freeciv):
Hhm. I assumed that debugging code produces debug messages (to be able to be
logged). So, debug=yes gives up to level 4 messages, debug=some gives up to
level 3 messages, and debug=no gives none (or more less).
Actually, debug=no gives still level 3 messages, so it's not that easy? Some
secret debugging procs that only hit in certain circumstances, I've never
seen.
Maybe, with debug=no, it's still somewhat smaller or faster? At least, this
was my intention in trying.
