Follow-up Comment #8, bug #24901 (project freeciv): http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/deployment-plugins.html sounds interesting, like, is QT_PLUGIN_PATH the best way to get whatever it does?
Apparently a .../styles sub-directory instead of .../plugins could work without QT_PLUGIN_PATH.
