Hello team, I see that you prepare to initiate the transition from a 2D game to more 3D. I fully agree with this choice.
There are two things which I think you could consider : - the use of a globe akin to the one in civ4, with latitude and longitude, and absence of poles, at least as an experiment for east-west wrap and north-south non-wrap. - try something like indiegogo to measure public interest and if necessary get some money for the project (make a dev full-time or hire a pro ?). It could also be the occasion to propose some pins, posters... to fans.
