The whole 'wallvalue' thing (among with related 'wall' and 'wall_value') seems
to be highly confused - names suggesting something, implementation being mix
of the other interpretations, and documentation stating something completely
different from either.
First step to sort this out is reverting this patch, at least until there's
cleaner baseline to apply it to. On top of current baseline it makes things
only worse.
The original patch applies cleanly as patch to revert with.
