Follow-up Comment #3, bug #23413 (project freeciv):
I have recompiled with --debug=yes (works!) and started
freeciv-gtk3 -d 4 -l log_05 -F 11 2>&1 | tee log_error_05
Encodings: Data=UTF-8, Local=UTF-8, Internal=UTF-8
** (freeciv-gtk3:9765): CRITICAL **: get_column_number: assertion `i <
gtk_tree_view_get_n_columns (treeview)' failed
getting some critical asserts which did _not_ throw an exception (despite -F
11)
This time the gtk3 symptoms started with a black map and spreaded onto the
xfce desktop (icons not drawn accurately). Remembering me that this is not the
(my) first bug report on the matter, it occured to me some time last year as
well.
