Details:
Small earth map:
- Added a total of 50 starting positions, including all nations from the Core
group, as well as an ancient and modern variant for most starting positions
(95 nations in total).
- Changed one tile of ocean to land between Java and Sumatra, to give more
chances to Indonesia to develop in the beginning.
(Note the game won't be balanced if played with all 50 nations, because some
regions like Europe will be much more populated than others like Siberia. It
is better played by selecting manually a few nations from each continent).
Big earth map:
- Moved the startpos of the Iroquois near the Great Lakes (the previous one
was around Washington).
- I did not add more starting positions to this map because this one is
supposed to be balanced with the current 38 nations, that are uniformly
distributed.
Both:
- Force the use of nationset = all.
Else, the starting positions of nations that are not in the core group (for
example Inuit or Australian aboriginal), are filled by random core nations,
that will appear completely out of place.
- I reduced the settings to the minimum (that seems to work with v2.5), so it
loads the defaults from the ruleset.
I submit the .sav instead of a patch, in case you prefer to keep the previous
settings.
