Details:

Bug #21279 is an example where the server erroneously sent unit_info packets
to detached connections, causing the client to crash. Bug #21468 is a much
lesser example of the same sort of thing.

It would be nice if the client could handle receiving these sorts of packets
(that it shouldn't receive while detached) more gracefully, ideally bleating
"received unexpected UNIT_INFO packet" and carrying on. This might help us
spot/diagnose this sort of issue quicker in future.
