Follow-up Comment #3:
Patch for S2_4 and TRUNK attached. It splits endgame report packet into one
header packet and separate packets for each player. This breaks network
compatibility - S2_3 needs more work to handle this properly with optional
capabilities. I may commit to S2_4 and TRUNK even before S2_3 version is ready
so that S2_4 network protocol freeze can go forward.
