Follow-up Comment #2, bug #17873 (project freeciv):
to reproduce:
keep the mouse over a menu action (like "build a city" or "goto") and press
the hotkey you want to assign to this action.
the new hotkey now appears next to the action.
to remove an hotkey repeat the procedure and press "backspace" as hotkey -->
the hotkey is removed.
