simples, um lugar na rede onde possa ver se uma placa tem ou não
driver no freebsd :)
por ex, comprei um pc com Via-Rhine e chego no site e vejo:

daí sei qual driver é, e que tem antes de ter rodar o FreeBSD
exatamente. a idéia é olhar uma placa mãe no site do fabricante e
saber se vou poder usá-la sem problemas. Pois dou total preferência a
hardware 100% compatível :)
