Aqui está o seu problema, o mergemaster não foi executado e por isso
o user bind não existe.
Veja bem, quando você executou o `mergemaster -p`, ele deu uma
mensagem avisando a você que:
** The directory specified for the temporary root environment,
/var/tmp/temproot, exists.
Essa mensagem diz que o diretório que ele usa como temporário para
fazer as comparações, já existe.
O que ele te pergunta é, Você quer deletar o que sobrou lá no
temporário? Como você provavelmente respondeu "no", ele não rodou
efetivamente o mergemaster.
