--- Comment #18 from John <jlma...@gmail.com> --- (In reply to Conrad Meyer from comment #17) Prior to for number months prior and to date only xfce4-screensaver is running: 2020-11-13 19:38:49+0000 UTC 1605296329 h440nndytpo3mqsdvcmtoeu3tppdnchwt85snd.h440nndytpo3mqsdvcmtoeu3tppdnchwt85snd 0 ~ $ ps -Alf | grep -e 'screen' 1001 62522 1 0 20 0 46416 25584 select S - 0:00.38 /usr/local/bin/xfce4-screensaver --no-daemon 1001 25678 88204 0 20 0 6660 2400 piperd S+ 0 0:00.00 grep -e screen 2020-11-13 20:08:02+0000 UTC 1605298082 h440nndytpo3mqsdvcmtoeu3tppdnchwt85snd.h440nndytpo3mqsdvcmtoeu3tppdnchwt85snd 0 ~ $ Sadly I cannot provide a refererencto FuryBSD noting FuryBSD removed xfce-screensaver due to many issues related to xfce4-screensaver. The reason I cannot provide that URL reference, screen shot, or PDF of the web page is FuryBSD project ended 31 October 2020 and the only web page the site presents is notification the project has ceased. Using xscreensaver and not xfce4-screensaver does not solve what is highly suggestive of a xfce4-screensaver bug. There are a number of other issues related to xfce4-screensaver I have not opened bug reports for as I was hoping this bug would actually be addressed. So far given how long and near no activity to address this issue that clearly others have encountered and when xfce4-screensaver is installed by pkg system really suggests this bug should be addressed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ freebsd-xfce@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-xfce To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-xfce-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
