Bug ID: 227044 Summary: Add support for iwm 9260 and 5165 devices Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: wireless Assignee: freebsd-wireless@FreeBSD.org Reporter: h....@web.de Well, the notebook[0] I am going to buy, as soon as my current one breaks down, is with an Intel 9260 chipset. And I would really like to run TrueOS, which is based on FreeBSD. Looking at the Linux support, it seems to be mostly about configuration parameter sets for these chipsets. Added links[1-9] below to see the changes of Linux. And two more links[10-11] to the current configuration parameter set files. If anyone is interested to look at this on how to integrate, or if there is more to it than just configuration.
