I've faced with the issue on FreeBSD 11.2.
The VM hangs while Microsoft SC DPM has been occupied by creating a backup for
another VM and has tried backup FreeBSD VM.
Past backups of FreeBSD VM (every week, during year more) has been created
successfully.
