If you have the early Intel Skylake CPU like mine, you will need to add both options ' ignore_bad_msr="YES" ' and ' bhyve_options="-w" ' to your OpenBSD config file for vm install. Just the '-w' switch was not enough for my OpenBSD .iso to begin the installation process.
