i just ran into some issues while trying to make buildworld:

... it seems _WITHOUT_SRCCONF= is causing this error. basically i thought
defining _WITHOUT_SRCCONF was equal to setting SRCCONF=/dev/null, but that
doesn't seem to be the case.
