But as you can see in my post one of the steps was to downgrade to 7.0-
p5 and the problem was still there.
That's why I'm so confuse.

Well that's what I get for being subscribed to ~14 different FreeBSD
lists -- very difficult keeping track of all of them. Anyway, it
was discussed on -questions, not -stable, my apologies.
