I think you have selected the wrong timezone for your FreeBSD machine.
Either that or your clock is about five and a half hours fast.  If you
really are in Samoa then the offset from UTC is +1100 and not +0530.

If you are really new to FreeBSD please do consider having a look at
Greg Lehey's excellent book _The Complete FreeBSD_.  It is even
available on-line these days:

And of course the FreeBSD web site is packed full of useful stuff, e.g.
