Mike, could you do me a favor and provide me with a set of words that will make what I am trying to say on this topic clear? I keep saying the same thing over and over again and nobody is hearing me, so could you perhaps help me translate this?
The fact that we reject your request that we provide further support for 6.2 does not mean we did not understand the question. It is you who are not understanding the reply. What you are asking for is *SUPPORT* for 6.2. That implies that we need to guarantee we will spend time *WORKING* on 6.2. We see no benefit in doing that. We would much rather spend that time to improve things in 6.3, because 6.3 is one of the branches we are supporting. As soon as you can tell us how we "support" 6.2 without *working* on 6.2, then maybe you'll have a more attentive audience. -- Garance Alistair Drosehn = [EMAIL PROTECTED] Senior Systems Programmer or [EMAIL PROTECTED] Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Troy, NY; USA _______________________________________________ freebsd-stable@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
