I think because it's too rude time for NTP. > > Any hints please. I have same problem under MS Virtual Server R2. I did not find any way how to solve this. Instead, I worked around this using ntpdate every five minutes in cron job and I also set kern.hz=2000 in /boot/loader.conf which helps a little bit.
