Pardon my ignorance, but can you give me a step-by-step on how to reproduce this? I have a couple VMware FreeBSD sessions up and want to see if I can reproduce it there. I also have an actual FreeBSD testbox at home which I can format and reinstall. (I'm not denying the problem exists, I just want to reproduce it, and I think those steps would be useful to those who can fix the problem too.) -- | Jeremy Chadwick jdc at parodius.com | | Parodius Networking http://www.parodius.com/ | | UNIX Systems Administrator Mountain View, CA, USA | | Making life hard for others since 1977.
