I got a similar problem when I connect my HDD with a DMA33 cable last
time when I was trying to install 6.0-PRERELEASE:

I also tried to disable DMA to make that disk work, but later
I found it was caused by a DMA33 cable. That disk worked fined
after I replaced that cable.
