this BTW seems to be a side-effect of 11g 11G when running above 11MBps is extremly sensitiv to antena and coax gear so even it it seems to be the same you may not getting good results when using a standard 11B antena light losses of Ohms in the cable or connectors or cheap antenas may strungle the radio useless after some time, often caused by cable length > 10meter on 11g to see if you're hit by this you may check with the delivered low-db antena and run a local download and if this works fine you probably have an antena/cable problem.
