I'm running the same MCP9 (on a Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 motherboard), and I'm also running an amd64 -STABLE kernel. nve0 times out all the time, (on the order of 12 minute intervals, seemingly), and the computer locks up for a couple of seconds. Very annoying. If there's anything that I can do to help debug or fix this, please let me know!
