Hi, I am using 5.4 STABLE and am getting a core dump when I use the
Helix Real Player 10 plugin for Firefox 1.0.4. The output from my
/etc/libmap.conf is as follows;
# Flash with Firefox
[/usr/local/lib/linux-flashplugin6/libflashplayer.so]
libpthread.so.0 pluginwrapper/flash6.so
libdl.so.2 pluginwrapper/flash6.so
libz.so.1 libz.so.2
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 liblstdc++.so.4
libm.so.6 libm.so
libc.so.6 pluginwrapper/flash6.so
# Acrobat 7.0 with Firefox
[/usr/compat/linux/usr/local/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/Browser/intellinux/nppdf.so]
libc.so.6 pluginwrapper/acrobat.so
# Helix Realplayer with Firefox
[/usr/local/lib/linux-mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so]
libstdc++.so.5 libstdc++.so.4
libc.so.6 pluginwrapper/realplayer.so
I used the examples in
/usr/local/share/examples/linuxpluginwrapper/libmap.conf-FreeBSD5-stable
as a guide for setting up the plugin. I checked /var/log/messages and
found the following entry in reference to the core dump;
Jul 9 21:15:15 localhost kernel: pid 674 (firefox-bin), uid 1001:
exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
Below is the last few lines of output after I use firefox to access a
page which requires the plugin;
Break: at file nsPresShell.cpp, line 3592
Block(h1)(1)@0x92242f0: line=0x92243f4 xmost=-1496865

Any insight would be appreciated,
caleb.
