No, and I now have disabled loading the module at boot aswell. Still no difference. I would also think that if that were the cause, the situation would be a lot worse on the notebook, where a lot more devices share one interrupt. But on the notebook (much slower machine), it isn't quite as bad as on the desktop machine.
