Hello,
I get the following for a whole bunch of out dated ports on my system. This is
taken from autoconf, but it's basicly the same for all other ports.

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g wheel
checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: ls -t appears
to fail. Make sure there is not a broken
alias in your environment
configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
if you'd be more attentive, you'd see that configure script complains about
broken system time:
"configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!"
