Hello, I am running FreeBSD 5.4-RC2 on an IBM Thinkpad T42. I am using a Microsoft 3-Button Mouse with IntelliEye which is detected when I boot and becomes ums0.
However, when I do kldload snd_driver (the only way I have found to get sound going), it silently crashes ums0. Part of my question is how can I make this work. But the other part of my question is learning how to properly report this problem, or track down the person who would be responsible for dealing with this (i.e. what is the preferred process within FreeBSD for dealing with this bug). I tried searching the Problem Reports database and didn't find anything.
