Yesterday I upgraded from 5.3 RELEASE to 5 STABLE. Everything went fine, but my keymap is no longer working. In rc.conf I have keymap="german.iso", but I can't type german umlauts.
As soon as I do "kbdcontrol -l german.iso" it works like expected, but after a reboot it's gone. Am I missing something here? Why does the keymap option in rc.conf not work?
