What are my options if the BIOS is stupid/old enough not to have such a
knob? I'll be facing a similar situation very soon, and I'm considering
following options:

a) Putting only a boot sector on a floppy (the machine will not be rebooted
much)
b) if that fails, is there something else to be put on a floppy? the loader?
how?
c) like a) or b), on a CD-R disc.
