I'm using FreeBSD 4.6 on an E7500 platform (a supermicro P4DPR, http://www.supermicro.com/PRODUCT/MotherBoards/E7500/P4DPR.htm) with dual XEON. This is working ok for me, I see all '4' processors (2 per xeon because of the symmetric multi-threading).
