Sorry, I meant the "ports-all tag=." version, which I assume is CURRENT. Here's what I have installed... # ls /var/db/pkg autoconf213-2.13.000227_2/ ncftp-3.1.4_1/ automake14-1.4.5_1/ nmap-3.00/ bison-1.35_1/ pgp-6.5.8/ boehm-gc-6.0/ pidentd-2.8.5/ bytebench-3.1/ pkg_tarup-1.2_3/ cclient-2001a,1/ pkgdb.db cvsup-without-gui-16.1f/ portupgrade-20020805/ expat-1.95.4/ procmail-3.22/ ezm3-1.0/ python-2.2.1/ fetchmail-5.9.11/ qpopper-4.0.4/ figlet-2.2/ ruby-1.6.7.2002.07.15/ gettext-0.11.5/ ruby-bdb1-0.1.7/ gmake-3.79.1_2/ ruby-shim-ruby18-1.7.2.2002.07.31/ healthd-0.6.9_1/ screen-3.9.11_1/ imake-4.2.0_1/ sed_inplace-2002.06.28/ ircii-20020403/ unix2dos-1.3/ ispell-3.2.06_2/ unzip-5.50/ jive-1.1/ uudeview-0.5.13/ libiconv-1.8_1/ uulib-0.5.13/ libtool-1.3.4_4/ vim-6.1.141/ m4-1.4_1/ w3m-0.3.1_1/ mutt-1.4/ wget-1.8.2_1/ Could you compare to your version of libtool? My gdb definately won't compile. And what do you have for ls /usr/local/bin/libtool* ? If, after 'make install' fails in /usr/ports/databases/gdbm , I go into /usr/ports/databases/gdbm/work/gdbm-1.8.0 there is a ltconfig in there, maybe that's what it ought to be using?? Doing a ./configure manually in that dir fails in the same way. /usr/local/bin//libtool/ltconfig is hardcoded into ./configure but it doesn't look like it got there from files/patch-* Thanks, Skye To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
