If you're waiting for some particular new feature, you may want to install what's in the tree right now. You are apparently subscribed to -stable, so you will probably hear about any important late-breaking bugs anyway, and you can always cvsup and make world after the release. If you're not waiting for some particular new feature, then you should have installed 4.5 a long time ago.
