Did you use mergemaster to update MAKEDEV before running it? I get
the following, which is different:

crw-r-----  4 root  operator  117,   0 Apr 27 20:24 acd0a
crw-r-----  4 root  operator  117,   0 Apr 27 20:24 acd0c
crw-r-----  4 root  operator  117,   8 Apr 27 20:24 acd1a
crw-r-----  4 root  operator  117,   8 Apr 27 20:24 acd1c
