I tried patching 9-Stable with fuse_240684.patch. It applied cleanly, but the kernel build failed: cc -O2 -pipe -fno-strict-aliasing -Werror -D_KERNEL -DKLD_MODULE -nostdinc -DHAVE_KERNEL_OPTION_HEADERS -include /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC/opt_global.h -I. -I@ -I@/contrib/altq -finline-limit=8000 --param inline-unit-growth=100 --param large-function-growth=1000 -fno-common -g -fno-omit-frame-pointer -I/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC -mcmodel=kernel -mno-red-zone -mno-mmx -mno-sse -msoft-float -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables -ffreestanding -fstack-protector -std=iso9899:1999 -fstack-protector -Wall -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wcast-qual -Wundef -Wno-pointer-sign -fformat-extensions -Wmissing-include-dirs -fdiagnostics-show-option -c /usr/src/sys/modules/fuse/../../fs/fuse/fuse_ipc.c cc1: warnings being treated as errors /usr/src/sys/modules/fuse/../../fs/fuse/fuse_node.c: In function 'fuse_vnode_setsize': /usr/src/sys/modules/fuse/../../fs/fuse/fuse_node.c:378: warning: passing argument 3 of 'vtruncbuf' makes pointer from integer without a cast /usr/src/sys/modules/fuse/../../fs/fuse/fuse_node.c:378: error: too few arguments to function 'vtruncbuf' *** [fuse_node.o] Error code 1 Looks like something has changed between stable and current that won't work. Any suggestions for a quick fix? It's a ThinkPad T520 running amd64, but I doubt that this is relevant to the error reported. -- R.
