Thanks -- sorry for the hassle. And that I was so preessed for time that I wasn't able to research it a bit first. In any case, I've reverted the change to the kernel config in question, applied the change from r214602, and rebuilt the kernels -- GENERIC, ALBERT, and JANUS -- that tyhe build machine normally builds, and all were successful.
