The messages indicate that you are using 8.1-RELEASE, but afaik 8.1 does not 
have the 6050 firmware module, did you get that from stable?

If you're able to try stable/8, please do so, there have been a few 
additions/fixes regarding 6000 series chips which are not in 8.1-RELEASE.
